The Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company SA (EYDAP) has the exclusive right to offer water and sewerage services in the Greater Attica Area. The term of this right, as well as its renewal, is regulated by a a 20-year Agreement signed by the Hellenic Republic and EYDAP in 1999.
The Hellenic Republic holds 61% of the company’s share capital, 10% is held by Agricultural Bank of Greece and the rest is free float. The company is listed on the Athens Stock Exchange.
The Hellenic Republic has appointed Credit Agricole CIB, Emporiki Bank and EFG Equities as financial advisors, Potamitis –Vekris Law firm and Allen & Overy as legal advisors, and Hyder Consulting as technical advisor to assist with the privatisation.
